These terms govern your Founder Membership at The Nest at Quail Ridge Golf Club ("The Nest"). The full document is also available in PDF on request.
1. Membership Grant & Term
Upon acceptance of this application and payment of the $200 reservation deposit, the Applicant is granted a Founder Membership at The Nest, subject to these terms. Founder Memberships are limited to the first 100 accepted applicants and are non-transferable. The membership term begins on the official public opening date of The Nest (currently targeted October 2026) and continues on a month-to-month basis until canceled in accordance with Section 6.
2. Rate & Rate Lock
The Founder Membership rate is $150 per month, locked for the life of the Founder Membership. The rate will not increase so long as the membership remains active and in good standing. The Founder rate is forfeited upon cancellation; reinstatement, if available, would be at the then-current public rate.
3. Reservation Deposit
A $200 reservation deposit is required to confirm a Founder Membership. The deposit:
- Reserves the Applicant's place among the 100 Founder Memberships in the order applications are received and approved;
- Will be applied as credit to the Applicant's first three (3) months of membership dues at a rate of $66.67 per month;
- Is fully refundable if the Applicant withdraws this application before approval, or if Quail Ridge cannot accommodate the membership;
- Becomes non-refundable ninety (90) days prior to the public opening date of The Nest. After that date, the deposit converts to an opening-credit balance described above.
4. Founder Benefits
Founder Members receive the following while their membership remains active and in good standing:
- Unlimited off-peak bay access — defined as standard public off-peak hours posted at The Nest from time to time;
- Priority club fitting access — first scheduling preference for fitting appointments in the Fitting Studio;
- Four (4) guest passes per calendar year — non-cumulative; unused passes do not roll over;
- Priority booking — Founders may book bay reservations up to two (2) weeks in advance; the public booking window opens one (1) week in advance;
- Founder Dinner — invitation to the Founder Dinner held at Quail Ridge prior to public opening.
5. Billing & Payment
Monthly dues are billed automatically to the Applicant's payment method on file beginning on the first day of the month The Nest opens to the public, after application of the deposit credit described in Section 3. Members are responsible for keeping payment information current. Delinquent accounts (failed payment for more than fifteen (15) days) may have their membership benefits suspended until the account is brought current. Quail Ridge may terminate any membership delinquent more than sixty (60) days.
6. Cancellation
Members may cancel their membership at any time by giving thirty (30) days' written notice to kyle@quailridgegc.com. Dues are charged through the end of the notice period. The Founder rate is forfeited upon cancellation and cannot be reinstated.
7. Suspension / Pause
Members may suspend their membership for up to ninety (90) days per calendar year for medical, work-related, or extended-travel reasons, by submitting written request to kyle@quailridgegc.com. Suspended memberships are not billed during the pause period. Founder rate is preserved during a properly requested suspension.
8. Code of Conduct
Members agree to conduct themselves respectfully toward staff, fellow members, and guests at all times. Quail Ridge reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership for repeated or serious violations of facility rules or for conduct that interferes with the enjoyment of other members. Termination for cause forfeits the deposit and the Founder rate.
9. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
The Nest involves participation in golf-related activities, including swinging clubs, hitting golf balls, and using indoor and outdoor practice spaces. Member acknowledges the inherent risks of golf practice and play and agrees, on behalf of themselves and their guests, to assume all such risks. To the fullest extent permitted by Michigan law, Member releases Quail Ridge Golf Club, its owners, employees, and agents from liability for personal injury or property damage arising out of ordinary use of The Nest, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
10. Photo & Media Consent
From time to time, Quail Ridge may take photographs and video at The Nest for marketing, member communications, and social media. By signing below, Member consents to the use of their likeness in such materials, unless they opt out via the consent checkbox at the end of this application.
11. Modifications
Quail Ridge reserves the right to update facility hours, programming, pricing for non-Founder offerings, and operational policies at any time. Founder-rate guarantees described in Section 2 are protected. Specific Founder benefits in Section 4 may evolve, provided that any change preserves benefits of substantially equivalent value.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. The parties agree that any disputes arising from this agreement will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between Member and Quail Ridge ownership, and if not resolved, through binding mediation in Kent County, Michigan.
13. Acceptance of Application
Submission of this application does not by itself create a binding membership. Quail Ridge reserves the right to accept or decline any Founder Membership application at its sole discretion. Upon acceptance, the deposit will be collected and the Founder Membership will be confirmed in writing to the Applicant.
